Dry needling is about trigger point acupuncture. It aims to reduce muscle pain and spasm and improve mobility.

The needle is inserted in a certain point and with the right handling releases these points, reducing pain and bringing the muscle back to its physiological length.

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine has been used in China for thousands of years and is a healing system based on energy. The needles are inserted in specific acupuncture points and they activate the self - healing abilities of the organism. The energy flow through the meridians is that way influenced, hence the whole organism. As a result, pain and discomfort are decreasing and the physiological balance is recovering.

It is commonly used to treat:

• skin conditions (ex. allergical dermatitis, etc.)

• musculoskeletal problems (ex. arthritis, etc.)

• respiratory problems (ex. asthma)

• gastroitestinal problems (ex. irritable bowel syndrom, diarrhea, constipation, etc.)

• urinary tract problems (π.χ. chronic urinary tract infections, etc.)

• cardiovascular problems

• reproductive system diseases

We use very small needles which are inserted in certain points. This is rather painless for the animals, due to the needles' size. We use sterilised, single - use needles, that are thrown away after each session.
