- What is veterinary physiotherapy?

Veterinary physiotherapy offers methods for the diagnosis, management and treatment of joint, bone, muscle and nerve disorders.

It is not only rehabilitation, but also prevention! It promotes an animal's health and well-being, improving its quality of life.

Veterinary physiotherapy supports and complements veterinary medicine, without replacing it.

- Can my animal benefit from physiotherapy?

Your animal can benefit from physiotherapy if it:

• Has recently undergone an orthopedic/neurological surgery.

• Has/had a muscle/tendon/nerve/ligament injury.

• Has spinal problems (IVDD, spondylosis, pain and paralysis, etc.).

• Has a degenerative joint disease (athritis, dysplasia, etc.).

• Has an abnormal gait (asymmetrical, paralysis, weak limbs, etc.).

• Is obese.

- How does physiotherapy work?

Physiotherapy reduces pain, improves mobility, physical condition and endurance and supports the animal before or/and after a surgery. It also prevents future problems and delays the progression of chronic diseases. For example, if an animal has injured one limb, then due to its gait and stance changes, there will occur other compensational structural changes.
